Hailing from the Canadian Arctic and having stepped foot on every continent, my passion for photography and my pursuit of adventure has no borders. What began in the north flourished once I moved to BC, and I consider myself so fortunate to have photography as both a hobby and a career.

I started with landscapes, moved on to a (thankfully) short-lived stint butchering HDR (high-dynamic range) images, discovered astrophotography, and became a wildlife opportunist. Somewhere along the way, I began exploring the art of portraiture. I loved learning about using light (both introduced and natural) to help capture personalities and the stories their images tell. I am also a Transport Canada licensed advanced RPAS (remotely-piloted aircraft system) pilot.

I have led workshops on local, national, and international stages. Whether it’s teaching someone the basics at home or leading a group of 15 photographers through the dunes and desert of Namibia, I thrive in a workshop setting. I enjoy meeting people and relish the opportunity to learn and share with others.

I use photography to see and experience the world in my unique way, and I want to help, educate, and inspire others to do the same.
